Wrapping it up!
I wanted to blog on this because when I think of winter weddings, I’m reminded of one from when I worked at a ski resort in Maine. The bride was a friend who also worked for the mountain. Skiing was her life: she skied for fun, for work, and she also met here fianceé while skiing. So naturally, she wanted a ski wedding! She wore an a belted white-a neoprene ski jumper, fur ushanka with a matching hand muff–total ski bunny vibes! 🐰
The couple had their guests meet them at the top of their favorite peak at sunset. When the nuptials were over, they skied down to their ski lodge reception. It really made an impression and remains a very fond memory (ahh, LOVE…)
All this is to say: Winter weddings aren’t just about the season; they’re about creating an intimate, unique celebration that tells your love story. From amazing venues to cozy vibes, there are infinite reasons to say “I do” during this magical time of year.
